Apartments in Almaty are more expensive that were before the crisis
The price index for proposals in Almaty according July (start from January 2016) decreased by 15.5%, but this is not enough for returning of the real estate market of south capital to the pre-crisis level.
Wherein, comparing the prices with those in the same period of last year, experts note a significant increase. So, in July 2015 at a date to the period of the course dollar (186-187 tenge), the average price proposals in Almaty amounted to 323.6 thousand tenge, which is 13.4% (about 43 thousand tenge) below than of the July 2016 .
Remind that according to analysts of the site "Krisha", the price index offers in Almaty in July was 367,025 tenge per square meter. It is for 67,175 tenge (15.5%) below than of the January data.
In this way, it seems, is coming true forecast of experts, who doubted that this year, housing prices back to the level prevailing before the collapse of the tenge.
There is a similar situation in other cities of Kazakhstan. However, analysts have found that the gap between prices and current devaluation is not so ambitious. In Astana, the national currency prices rose by only 7% in the past month compared with July 2015. Last year in July, housing prices in the capital were lower by almost 24 thousand tenge per square.
